This week, we're talking about the different types of meditation. There are so many to choose from, but here are some of the most popular types:


-Mindfulness meditation: This is a great place to start if you're looking to calm your mind and just be present. It's all about noticing your thoughts as they arise and letting them go.


-Transcendental meditation: This type of meditation aims to connect you with spiritual reality by focusing on a mantra (a word or sound) that helps quiet the mind.


-Self-inquiry: This type of meditation involves asking yourself questions like "Who am I?" or "What do I want?"—questions that may seem silly at first but can help bring clarity and direction in life.


-Chakra meditation: This type of meditation focuses on balancing energy centers in the body called chakras. Chakras are located at different areas in the body, ranging from the crown of the head down to the tips of your toes!


So which one should you try? We think they're all great! If you've never meditated before, give mindfulness a shot—it's easy and effective!
